My son is targeting Oxford for maths and needed tuition at a very high level. His Daresne tutor has a first-class maths degree and is comfortable going well beyond the A level curriculum. Sessions are challenging and exactly what he needs. He is on track for an A star and his STEP preparation is going well. Twelve sessions a month and we have been going for about fourteen months.
Good overall. Son has improved in Leaving Cert chemistry over the last five months. Four stars because I felt the first month was a bit slow to get going but things have been very good since month two. Would recommend.
My daughter has had Daresne tutors for both maths and science this year. Both tutors have been excellent and both subjects have improved. The tutors clearly know the Irish curriculum well. My daughter feels confident going into her Junior Cert in a way she definitely did not at the start of the year.
My son handed in his first geography fieldwork write-up and his teacher described it as underdeveloped. His tutor spent four sessions specifically on the fieldwork investigation structure. He handed in the revision and his teacher called it excellent. A significant turnaround.
Worth it. My son struggled with Leaving Cert physics for two years. His tutor has sorted it out in four months.
Honestly exceeded my expectations. I thought online tutoring would be second best to face to face. It is not. The sessions are focused and productive and my son has improved significantly in A level chemistry. His tutor knows exactly what the exam requires.

My daughter chose to sit GCSE Welsh second language and was struggling with the oral and writing components. Her tutor was very familiar with the WJEC specification and the style of questions. She improved significantly across all components. Her predicted grade went from a 4 to a 7. Excellent tutor for a subject that is hard to find support for.
