My daughter was struggling specifically with the OS map and statistical analysis sections of Leaving Cert geography. Her tutor identified this quickly and structured sessions around these specific skills. Within two months she was confident on both. Overall grade is now on an H2 trajectory. Really targeted approach that worked.
Recommended by three different friends and now I see why. My son started four months ago and has gone from H5 to predicted H2 in Leaving Cert chemistry. The tutor knows what he is doing and my son actually looks forward to the sessions.
My son used Daresne for Higher maths, chemistry and English through S5 and S6. Three tutors, all through the same platform, all excellent. Two As and a B. He is going to his first choice university to study chemical engineering. Eight sessions a month per subject, roughly two years in total.
H6s in Leaving Cert higher maths and the school suggested dropping to ordinary. We did not want that. Two sessions a week with Daresne from September and he is now predicted an H3 on the higher paper. His tutor was very focused - worked only on the topics he was dropping marks on, nothing else. Worth trusting your instinct and not dropping down. Worth every session.
Great experience from start to finish. The tutor was matched well and my daughter has really come on in Leaving Cert biology. Very happy with Daresne.
Highly recommend. My son improved in Leaving Cert chemistry and really liked his tutor. Would sign up again.
My son was getting 4s in both maths and physics at the start of Year 11. Two sessions a week per subject through Daresne and he is now predicted 7s in both. The tutors are both excellent and clearly know the CCEA specification well. Having both through the same service has made scheduling and invoicing much simpler too.
My daughter speaks French natively but was still only getting Bs in A level French. Her tutor identified that the issue was not her French but her exam technique - not answering questions precisely. Six weeks of focused work on this and she is now predicted an A.
