Italian GCSE is not commonly supported and her school has limited resources for it. Her Daresne tutor focused entirely on the exam components that were dragging her down — written and reading comprehension. She went from a 4 to a predicted 7 over about six months. The grade jump speaks for itself.
Good service. My daughter has improved in Leaving Cert geography and likes her tutor. Small gripe is that I sometimes have trouble getting quick responses via the Daresne Chat when I have a quick question. Not a big deal but when you are paying for a service you want communication to be quick. Teaching quality has been excellent though.

My son was bored of geography before Daresne. His tutor linked everything to real current events and case studies that were actually interesting. He went from a 4 to an 8. He is now doing it at A level. That is the most unlikely outcome I could have predicted when we started.

Son was struggling with macroeconomics, the abstract concepts like fiscal policy just were not making sense from the textbook. Tutor uses real world examples and current events to explain the theory which makes it stick. Went from failing to passing his unit assessments.
Five stars without hesitation. My son has improved enormously in Leaving Cert physics and really enjoys his sessions. Brilliant service.
