The grade matters less to me than the mindset shift. She had completely accepted that she was bad at maths. Son is fine with the theory side of computer science but the programming elements were letting him down. His tutor focused specifically on Python and problem-solving technique in the mock papers. He has gone from failing the programming questions to getting close to full marks on them. Pleased with how focused the sessions have been.

My daughter was doing A level German and her written register was too informal. Her Daresne tutor identified patterns in her writing that were coming from English interference and worked on these specifically. After two months her written German was significantly more natural. Predicted an A.
