The quality of teaching has been really good for my daughter in Leaving Cert biology. My only hesitation is the cost which is not trivial on a tight budget. That said she has improved significantly and I think we will continue. Four stars because the value is there but it is a stretch for some families.
Son had a rough few months and his maths grade slipped badly. Was predicted an A in Year 12 and by the start of Year 13 was getting Cs. Two sessions a week with Daresne and he has pulled it back to a B and is targeting an A again. Tutor has been excellent at rebuilding his confidence as much as the content.
Five stars. My son improved significantly in Leaving Cert biology over the course of the year. Twelve sessions a month and worth every penny.
Good tutor, good results. My son enjoyed the sessions with Priya and came out of his GCSE biology exam feeling confident. Cannot ask for more than that.
Daughter was predicted a C in A level biology and needed higher for her medicine application. Eight months with her Daresne tutor and she sat the exam predicted an A. She got her medicine offer. I still do not fully understand how the improvement was so significant but it was.
