Son has ADHD and finds it hard to focus for long periods. Tutor was made aware and completely adapted her approach. Sessions are more dynamic with varied activity and shorter focused bursts. His progress has been remarkable and school is noticing the improvement too. Impressed with the quality.
My daughter sat six GCSEs and used Daresne for three of them - maths, biology and English. All three went up from her mock grades. I think the confidence she got from Daresne spilled into the other subjects too.
Okay but not quite what I expected going in. Results day showed my son got an H4 in Leaving Cert maths which is an improvement on where he started but we were hoping for H2. The tutor was fine but I think perhaps not the best match in terms of teaching style. Not a bad experience, just not as transformative as some of these other reviews suggest it can be.

Son has dyslexia and has always found English very difficult. Tutor used approaches that work better for dyslexic learners. He has made more progress in the last six months than in the previous two years. His confidence has also improved a lot which is probably the most important thing.
