Daughter was really struggling with Higher biology and at risk of not passing. Tutor helped her understand the content much better and also worked really on exam technique. She passed her prelim which she had failed previously. Really pleased with the turnaround.
Son was getting very low marks in National 5 chemistry and we were worried he might not pass. Tutor has been excellent and he has improved enormously. Now predicted a 6 which is more than we had hoped for. Tutor was very familiar with the Scottish curriculum.
Daughter doing Advanced Higher maths which is very challenging. Finding a tutor at that level was the main concern but Daresne found someone with a maths degree who is very familiar with the Advanced Higher specification. Sessions have been excellent and she is making strong progress.
