Son understood the historical content well but kept dropping marks on source analysis questions. His tutor worked out quickly that he was describing sources rather than analysing them. Six weeks of focused work on that one skill and his mark on source questions went up by about 12 marks. Predicted a 7 now.
Son was getting 2s and 3s in maths. After 6 months with Daresne he has gone from failing to being predicted a 5 which is all he needs. Transformation has been remarkable honestly. Tutor has been fantastic at building his confidence and filling in gaps from previous years.

Son was fine with the human geography content but kept dropping marks on the fieldwork and data skills elements. His tutor went through the mark scheme for those sections properly and helped him understand what a full-mark answer actually looks like. His marks on those sections have improved a lot.
We have now used Daresne for three of our children across different subjects and year groups. Each time the tutor has been excellent and the progress real and measurable. Pricing is fair and the matching process finds tutors who are a good fit for the child. Would definitely use Daresne again.

Daughter doing triple science and struggling across all three. Started with biology first and then added chemistry and physics once we saw the improvement. All three grades have gone up by one or two grades. Tutors have been brilliant and sessions well structured.
