Good. My son has improved in Leaving Cert biology and likes his tutor. One note is that we waited about ten days from signing up to having our first session which felt like a long time. Would still recommend but worth knowing.

Son was failing every assessment in economics. Not close failing, properly failing. His tutor spent the first session just finding out what he understood and what he did not rather than rushing to cover content. Two months later he passed his most recent assessment. His teacher asked if something had changed.
First tutor was fine but did not quite click with my daughter. I mentioned it to Daresne and they arranged a different tutor within a few days. Second one was a much better match and my daughter has done brilliantly since then. Junior Cert results were excellent. Four stars only because of the initial mismatch - once we had the right tutor it was five star service.

My daughter was finding RS exam essays hard. She had good views and could argue her point verbally but on paper the answers were disorganised. Her tutor spent the first three sessions just on structure and how to balance AO1 and AO2 in each answer. Marks went up significantly and her teacher noticed without being told. Predicted an 8 now.
