Son has improved in Leaving Cert maths since starting with Daresne but there is still a way to go. Tutor is good and knowledgeable about the Irish curriculum. Progress has been a bit slower than I hoped but it is real and measurable. Would probably recommend but with realistic expectations.

Daughter was struggling with Junior Cycle maths and we found Daresne. Tutor was very knowledgeable about the Irish curriculum and sessions have been really effective. She has gone from failing to passing her school assessments. Would recommend.
Son was really struggling with Leaving Cert higher level English essays. The comparative and poetry analysis just were not clicking. His Daresne tutor was brilliant at breaking down exactly what each question type requires. He went from H4s to H2s in his assessments. Grade has improved and we are happy with that.
Son was finding Leaving Cert physics really abstract and hard to apply. His tutor at Daresne takes a very problem-based approach which worked brilliantly for him. He has gone from getting Cs to As in his assessments. Positive experience overall.

Two children having Junior Cert prep with Daresne. Both tutors have been excellent and both have improved significantly. The tutors clearly know the Irish curriculum really well. Really pleased with the service and good value too.
Son was completely disengaged from science until Daresne. His tutor clearly loves biology and that enthusiasm really came through. Son now says science is one of his favourite subjects. His marks have improved a lot but the change in attitude is probably the best outcome.
