Her tutor completely changed how she revises not just what she revises. Timed questions, marks her own work, goes back to anything she got wrong. I was sceptical about whether this would work as well online as it would in person. It works better than I expected. She said the exam felt familiar because she had been doing exam conditions every week. Quietly confident now.
Really good from the start. My daughter liked her tutor immediately and Junior Cert science is coming on well. Would reccomend.
Tutor is good and my son has improved in Leaving Cert physics. My one caveat is that rescheduling took a couple of days to confirm through the Daresne Chat which felt a bit slow. Not a dealbreaker at all, just worth flagging. Sessions themselves have been worth it.

Would give 4.5 stars if that was an option. Genuinely excellent tutor for my daughter's Leaving Cert chemistry. The only reason for four not five is that her first session was cancelled with very short notice. Everything since has been excellent and she has improved significantly. Tutor knows the Irish curriculum inside out.
Great tutor, great results. Simple as that.
She was in tears over her January mocks. Three Daresne tutors - one each for maths, biology and chemistry. Exams started this week and she is a completely different student. Sleeps fine the night before. Has breakfast. Comes home and says what went well rather than what went wrong. I do not know exactly what changed but I am very grateful for it.

My daughter absolutely loves her sessions with Mia. She talks about her like a friend. Maths has gone from her worst subject to the one she puts the most effort into. Totally worth it.
Really impressed with the quality. Marcus clearly knows his stuff and explains it well. My son went from H5s to H3 predicted in chemistry. Eight sessions a month for about six months.
