Good sessions. My daughter has improved in GCSE French and likes her tutor. Four stars only because we waited about two weeks for the first session which felt slow.
Written French was fine. The oral was causing genuine anxiety, not just nerves. Her tutor built structured conversation practice into every session from the start. Mock oral came around and she said she felt less nervous than she had ever been before an exam. Got an A. First time that has happened.
Just want to say thank you to Caitlin who has been brilliant with my daughter throughout Leaving Cert biology. She passed her mocks. We are very hopeful for June.

Two children using Daresne. One doing GCSE maths, other A level economics. Both are getting better. Economics tutor is particularly strong, uses real world examples rather than just the textbook which suits my son much better. Its not the cheapest option but the quality is there. Happy with it overall.
Three Daresne tutors - one per science. Physics up two levels, chemistry up one, biology up two. What I had not expected was how convenient it is having all three through one platform. One place to manage everything. The actual improvement across all three sciences in one year has been impressive.
Very good service. My son was dreading Junior Cert Irish and now he is on top of it. The tutor knows the Irish curriculum very well which made a difference.
Maths grade went up two levels. Enough said.
My son had been put in the foundation tier set at school and was expected to sit the foundation paper. We disagreed and switched to Daresne to prepare him for higher tier instead. His tutor was brilliant at filling the gaps without making him feel behind. He sat the higher paper and got a 5. School had written him off for that. We were delighted.
