This time last year daughter was getting 4s in English language and was disheartened. Started Daresne in January and she got a 7 in her mock in November. Improvement in her writing is really visible. She now actually enjoys writing which I never thought I would say. Tutor has been incredibly patient and encouraging.

Son doing A level physics and was really behind after some disruption at school. His Daresne tutor is clearly very knowledgeable and my son says he explains things better than his school teacher. Not something I thought I would hear but there it is. He is now on track for his target grade.
The tutor is good and my son has improved in Junior Cert maths. My only gripe is that I sometimes have to chase for updates through the Daresne Chat. Not a big issue and things always get resolved quickly once I do follow up. Would still recommend.

Daughter had a really negative attitude toward maths after a difficult yr8. By yr10 she had basically given up on getting anything decent at GCSE. Tutor spent time rebuilding her confidence before even getting into exam technique. She is now predicted a 6 and does her maths homework without being asked.
My daughter needed an A in A level economics to keep her Cambridge offer. In January she was still getting Bs and we were worried. Her Daresne tutor focused entirely on the essay components where she was dropping marks and they worked on past papers every single session. She got her A. She is at Cambridge now. I do not have words for how grateful we are.

Daughter very talented at performing but really struggling with music theory and harmony elements of A level music. Tutor is a professional musician who has taught A level before. Sessions have transformed her understanding. She is now performing well on all components.

My son was getting Ds in Higher physics and was at risk of not passing. His tutor was really strong on both the content and exam technique. Worked systematically through each topic and made sure the understanding was there before moving on. He is now predicted a B and feels confident going into the exam. Very pleased.
Happy with everything. Simple as that.
