Highly recommend. Daughter was really struggling with Higher chemistry and Tom has been fantastic. She is predicted a B now. Sessions have been eight a month from October.
Four stars. The sessions have been good and son is improving in Leaving Cert biology. I am giving four rather than five because progress is a little slow for my liking but the tutor is good and my son likes him which is the main thing.
Quality of teaching has been really high and son has gone from a 4 to a predicted 6. Only reason not 5 stars is the first few weeks had scheduling confusion and a session was missed without warning. Got sorted and since then has been really smooth. Would still recommend.

Really hard to find good Arabic tutors in the UK and Daresne came through. Tutor was brilliant and understood the specific requirements of the GCSE syllabus. Daughter improved massively in written Arabic and reading comprehension. We will use Daresne for A level Arabic next year as well.
Predicted grade of 2 in chemistry at the start of Year 11. Not a typo. Started Daresne in September and her tutor Zainab went back to absolute basics. By March she was predicted a 7. I still cannot fully explain how that happened in one year but something about the way Zainab teaches just clicked with her. Sixteen sessions a month the final term.
Judith this is just incredible. A 2 to a 7 is one of the most remarkable improvements we have ever seen. Your daughter should be so proud. The Daresne Team
Son is good at programming but the written theory paper was dragging his grade down. His tutor focused specifically on the theory components and how to structure answers for each question type. After about two months his theory scores were at the same level as his practical work. Now predicted an A overall where he had been getting Cs.
My daughter is doing GCSE Mandarin and finding a tutor who understands the specific GCSE requirements - rather than just teaching conversational Mandarin - was very difficult. Daresne found exactly the right person. Her written marks have improved significantly and her listening comprehension is much stronger. Really impressed.
